Do consumers trust health insurers? Across the country, consumer confidence and trust in the health insurance industry vary. One of the great advantages for the residents in our neck of the woods is the number of choices we all have for health insurance. It’s a competitive market, which means consumers can usually get exactly the health plans they want if they do their homework. But choosing can be challenging.
Aspirus Health Plan offers a new choice. When customers select Aspirus Health Plan, they get high-value health plans with access to high-quality, compassionate care. They also get something else: integrity. Our customers can count on us to do what we say we’re going to do. It’s important as they select a health insurer to know that high ethical standards are woven into the fabric of Aspirus Health Plan.

The Aspirus Health Plan Board of Directors has approved this Code, which applies to all employees, contracted and temporary employees, board members, and officers. It is up to each of us to take personal responsibility for conducting business with honesty, integrity, sincerity, and truthfulness consistent with this Code. Please read the Code and refer to it often. Stay current with your ethics training. If you have questions, ask for guidance from your supervisor or your compliance officer.

Raising concerns takes courage, but it is essential to ensuring that we conduct business with integrity. Please understand that Aspirus Health Plan will not tolerate any form of retaliation or harassment against any employee for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential violations.
